Our Parenting Coordination Services
Dora offers parenting coordination services to support parents navigating the ongoing journey of co-parenting after separation. Her focus is on helping families implement existing parenting court orders with clarity and consistency, thereby reducing the conflict and misunderstanding, and whilst supporting the wellbeing of their children.
Through parenting coordination, Dora assists parents to:
Improve communication and reduce misunderstandings
Develop strategies towards a more seamless transition between households for their children
Address day-to-day issues such as changeovers, school routines, holiday arrangements, travel plans, and medical appointments
Dora’s background in high-conflict parenting matters coupled with her judicial experience bring a calmness, structure and practicality to families who need support staying on track. Their children can then receive the stability and care they need to thrive in reaching their full potentials.

More about Parenting Coordination
-
Parenting coordination is a child-focused, post-separation service designed to assist parents in implementing parenting arrangements more effectively.
While court orders and parenting plans provide a legal framework, many families struggle with the day-to-day decisions, misunderstandings or tensions that can arise in co-parenting. A parenting coordinator works with both parents to help reduce conflict, improve communication and support compliance with existing parenting arrangements.
Parenting coordination is not therapy or legal advice. It is a structured, child-centred process that focuses on problem-solving, education, and conflict resolution. Parenting coordination helps parents to stay focused on the best interests of their children whilst minimising the need for further litigation.
Parenting coordination may be appropriate where:
There is a history of frequent conflict, miscommunication, or non-compliance with orders
Parents need support in interpreting or following parenting plans or court orders
Children are showing signs of stress or confusion due to parental conflict
A more structured, supported co-parenting framework is needed
Parenting coordination sessions are held online and are delivered over a period of 12 to 24 months.
Dora works with each family to tailor the process to their specific needs, always with the wellbeing of the children at the front of mind.
-
The parenting coordination process is typically of 12 to 24 months in duration.
The parents meet regularly with the parenting coordinator who assists them through education, coaching and conflict resolution to strengthen ongoing co-parenting arrangements.
Engagement by Court Order
Parents can engage Dora as their parenting coordinator either by court order or by mutual agreement (with consent court orders in place).
Scheduling Initial Sessions
Once both parents agree to appoint Dora as their parenting coordinator, the first joint session can be scheduled via the booking page on this website.
After the booking is confirmed, each parent will be invited to arrange an individual session with Dora around 1-2 weeks before the joint session.
Individual sessions typically run for 60 minutes. Joint sessions are 90 minutes in duration. All parenting coordination sessions are conducted online via Zoom.
Preparation
After the bookings are confirmed, an agreement to parenting coordination and a brief intake questionnaire will be sent to both parents for completion.
Before Dora meets with the parents, she reviews the completed questionnaires and relevant documents to ensure she has a clear understanding of the family’s needs and context prior to the initial meetings.
Session Format
A tailored plan for the frequency and format of future parenting coordination sessions will be developed together with the parents, based on the family’s unique circumstances.
